Volcanoes Manager Sets Sights on San Jose FRIDAY - January 11, 2008
The man who led the Volcanoes to back-to-back NWL Championships will now call San Jose his home. Volcanoes former Manager Steve Decker was NWL Manager of the Year in every year during his 3-year stint with Salem-Keizer. Last year the Volcanoes were the 2007 Minor League Team of The Year and the prior year Decker was MILB.com's Coach of The Year.
2007 Championship Banner to be raised Opening Day Thursday - January 3, 2008
The raising of the Northwest League Championship banner has become a tradition at Volcanoes Stadium in recent years. The Volcanoes will raise the NWL Championship banner for the third time since 2001, and fourth since the teams inaugural season in 1996.
